Composite slab made of hollow core elements

The system being used for the roof is an adaption of the external page HB-RAPID system developed by Häring & Co.AG. The system consists of hollow core elements with beams and boards at the bottom made of timber, while the boards on the top are made of prefabricated concrete elements connected to the timber beams with the HB-rapid system. The system installed on the ETH House of Natural Resources uses LVL beech wood beams and boards instead of common elements made of softwood (spruce).

Further details will soon be published.
