Phase 5

The fifth testing phase is a long-term testing campaign, which has been running since the opening of the building in June 2015. The acceleration measurement is triggered by specific events, for example at high wind speeds or at high accelerations at the monitoring sensor (single accelerometer, which continuously measures). Additionally, tests with the mechanical shaker were carried out in June 2015.

The aim of this long-term test is to monitor the evolution of the acceleration behaviour over the entire lifetime of the building. The natural frequencies of the building can be derived from the triggered acceleration measurements, which can then be displayed over time (monitoring website).
